Our zinc sulfate products include Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate and Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate. Zinc sulfate monohydrate is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula ZnSO4H2O. The appearance is a white flowing powder. Density 3.28g/cm3. It has the properties of being soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, easily deliquescent in air, and insoluble in acetone.
Zinc sulfate heptahydrate is an inorganic substance with a molecular formula of ZnSO4 · 7H2O. It is a colorless prismatic crystal with a rhombohedral structure and a white crystalline powder. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. When heated to 200 ℃, it loses water and decomposes at 770 ℃.
Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate
Application of Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate:
Zinc sulfate monohydrate is widely used in various fields such as feed, fertilizer, mineral processing, pharmaceuticals, rubber, electronics, printing and dyeing agents, electroplating, prevention of fruit tree diseases and pests, circulating cooling water treatment, adhesive fibers, and nylon fibers.
Used for feed: Feed grade zinc sulfate monohydrate can be used as a nutritional supplement for zinc elements in animals. Raw materials for organic-inorganic chelates.
For agriculture: Agricultural grade zinc sulfate monohydrate can be used as a water-soluble fertilizer, trace element fertilizer, etc., to improve soil nutrient distribution and promote crop growth.
For industrial use: Industrial grade zinc sulfate monohydrate can be used as a preservative for artificial fibers, wood, and leather, and is a raw material for manufacturing zinc salts and lithopone. It is also used in printing and dyeing, electroplating, flotation mining, and circulating cooling water treatment.
Application of Zinc sulfate heptahydrate:
1. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate can be used as a mordant, wood preservative, bleaching agent in the paper industry, as well as for artificial fibers, electrolysis, electroplating, etc.
2. Used in the agricultural industry, heptahydrate zinc sulfate is used as foliar fertilizer or base fertilizer, suitable for crops such as corn and rice, to promote plant growth, prevent and control diseases, and supplement soil zinc elements.
3. Used in medicine and daily chemical industry, heptahydrate zinc sulfate can be formulated into skin protectants such as calamine, and is used as a raw material for astringent drugs and latex products.
4. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate is the main raw material for manufacturing inorganic pigments (such as lithopone), other zinc salts (such as zinc stearate basic zinc carbonate), and zinc containing catalysts.
